London, 28 November 2013 – The Alexandria Trust announced this week that Dayna Bahig has joined the organisation's team as honorary representative in Alexandria, Egypt.

Dayna lives in Alexandria where she heads communications and public relations for her family's petroleum business. She is also the youngest ever board member of the Schutz American School of Alexandria.

"I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Dayna Bahig to the role of honorary representative in Alexandria with the Trust," said Executive Director David French. "It quickly became clear to me that Dayna has both a deep interest in the Trust's work and a range of ability highly relevant to our needs. We very much look forward to our having the additional capacity Dayna will certainly bring to our developing portfolio."

"I commend the great efforts and success you have achieved in setting up the Alexandria Trust," Dayna said. "I feel honoured to be joining the family of the Trust and I look forward to working with the team in realising the Trust's vision for an Arab region once again home to world class standards of education."
